Lindsay Walker is an articling student at Raymond Group Defence, working under the supervision of Managing Lawyer, Tyler Raymond.
Lindsay brings a strong academic foundation and a rights-focused perspective to criminal defence work. She completed the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) process in 2025 and holds an LLB from the University of the West of England (Bristol). Her graduate research at the Peter A. Allard School of Law has examined the legality and lived impact of state search powers, including strip-search practices.
In addition to her legal training in Canada and the UK, Lindsay has meaningful international access-to-justice experience. She worked with Justice Defenders (formerly African Prisons Project) in Kenya, helping develop and deliver legal skills programming in maximum-security prison settings, and later coordinated pro bono initiatives supporting incarcerated learners and tutors. She is committed to trauma-informed and culturally safe practice, supported by training in trauma-informed practice and Indigenous cultural competency.
