Arjun Bains, Student-at-Law

Arjun is currently articling under the supervision of Tyler Raymond at Raymond Group Defence.

He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia and obtained his Juris Doctor from Bond University in 2021. Following the completion of his legal studies, Arjun received his Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA), allowing him to pursue legal practice in Canada.

Arjun began his articles in British Columbia with a respected criminal defence firm. In that role he acted for clients charged with a wide range of criminal offences, including impaired and dangerous driving, assault, and weapons-related charges. Prior to relocating to Edmonton, Arjun regularly appeared before the Provincial Court of British Columbia.

He approaches each file with professionalism, attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to protecting his clients' rights while striving for practical and effective resolutions. Arjun is fluent in both English and Punjabi, enabling him to serve a diverse clientele with clarity and cultural awareness.

With a lifelong background in competitive hockey, Arjun brings discipline, composure, and a team-oriented mindset to his legal practice. He is dedicated to advancing his experience in criminal defence and contributing meaningfully to the firm’s work on behalf of the accused.
