David is a Criminal Defence Lawyer with RG Defence. He represents clients charged with all offences under the Criminal Code, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and the Traffic Safety Act. David prides himself in delivering thorough and persuasive advocacy for anyone in need of criminal defence services in Edmonton and across Alberta.
David was called to the Alberta Bar in 2023 and holds a Bachelor of Laws with second-class honours from the University of Southampton in England. After completing law school in England, David returned to Edmonton, where he obtained his Certificate of Qualification from the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Law. Prior to entering law school David completed a Bachelor of Arts at MacEwan University, majoring in History.
Before joining RG Defence, David completed his articles with a local Edmonton law firm. He subsequently worked for Old Strathcona Law Offices, where he was trained in criminal defence work. David is passionate about criminal justice and pursuing the strongest defence for his clients.
David is a member of the Criminal Trial Lawyers Association (Alberta) and is a Legal Aid roster lawyer. David appears regularly before the Alberta Court of Justice, the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta and SafeRoads Alberta.
